It's a festival, a festival

Despite their more than occasional snickers at the foreigners' expense this week, the locals of Vatheon haven't skimmed on the festival they are organizing this Saturday; the smells of delicious foods start drifting all through out the bubble from an early hour and soon the streets are busy with people setting up booths, stages for fight and play. Banners are hung everywhere to make the city look even more cheerful, and more and more locals gather, arms full of things needed for the party until finally, an hour or so before noon, a trumpet sounds.

The festival has begun!

There are signs everywhere throughout the city, displaying small maps of the booths and stalls to find --so many dedicated to all manners of delicious food, and an equal amount dedicated to fun and games and all sorts of little things that could be gotten to remember this day by-- and of course, schedules for the fights to be fought. Every fight stage is set quite centrally so more than enough people can come and cheer on the fighters. And for those not interested in cheering? Well, there is always that lady selling the delicious turkey legs. And if that is not your fancy how about those nice manly ales. No worry, nobody cares enough around these parts to check for ages.

[ooc: And there she is, dear everyone. The festival has begun and will go on until the very late (or is that early) hours of Saturday night. Mingling, threadjacking, it is all encouraged. Go out there and meet new people, have fun with the ones you already know, and have a nice, frothy pint of ale.]
