So you're Kefka, huh?

Once she had identified which of the negative presences belonged to Kefka, it had taken less than an hour to track him down. The coral, of course, being the first place that Aqua thought to look.
Some distance away, she spotted her target -- and gasped when she realized what he intended to do.
If he recharged himself using the coral's restorative magic...
Without giving it a second thought, she gathered herself and hurled a slew of Thundaga his way, hoping at the very least to anger him into a distraction until she could close the distance.

"That's him, then?" he asked the man behind him, looking back at Soul Eater.
"Yeah," Soul replied, his mouth going tight with displeasure.
The two stood there, watching, for a few moments, watching the girl blast a spell at him.
"Right. She'll need help." Stein looked back at Soul again, nodding. He pulled his labcoat off, tossing it onto the ground. "His soul is strong."
Soul merely nodded back, and, in a flash of white, took his scythe form. Stein deftly caught the scythe, twirling him for a moment before running down to the Plaza.

Beat it, bub! I'm not interested in playing fetch with any--WHOA!
[Somewhere in the middle of his reply, several streaks of lightning came shooting right towards him. If Kefka didn't act on instinct and nullify the spell with his magic, the clown would be a tad toasty by now.]
WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!
[Talk about rude! These people are just down right nasty.]

'Why cling to life knowing you'll only die?'
[It was a down right miracle that Kefka managed to survive this long. The odds were against him from the start, the harlequin was close to death. Only once before did he ever feel so in tune with his mortality. It was a sickening and revolting feeling he honestly couldn't force himself to forget. When those blue beams of light came streaming his way, Kefka held out his hand towards them and everything went silent.]
Pathetic.
[Struck by the raw power of the keyblade, Kefka's entire form was engulfed by a bright blinding light that nearly shallow the entire plaza whole. No one believed Kefka when he claimed Godhood in the past, but perhaps now with these brave fools as witnesses, someone in this miserable town now believed him. If anyone dared to stare directly into the light, they could see several figures stretching upward towards the aquatic sky.
They were wings...]

He walks up behind Sora, his expression flat and serious. ]
Trouble. Whatever it is, it must be stopped as soon as possible with the fewest casualties.

"Hello, Sora. Fancy seeing you here," she chuckled, finishing her cigar and tossing it off to the side.

Raenef looks up at the winged person everyone seems to be focused on and gulps.]
...Selphie, do you know that guy? Is he new here or something 'cause I-
[Wait.
Wait.
Raenef squints a little. Just for a second, it looked a little like- But no way! Could it be...?]
...is that Mr. God?

What..? What is happening?

I dunno... How did he get like that? And hey! That's my friend, Sora! [Raenef points to the keyblade wielder with his free hand.]
But... I don't get it. Sora only fights bad guys and invisible people. Do you think something bad happened?

You're right. Something ~must~ have happened.
*All determination, Selphie tugs at Raenef's hand*
I need to do something!
