Tomorrow morning at 8.30 my time the baby will get evicted. The labour will be induced! Thank heavens! It's about time. I slept whole four hours last night. Whee, momma looks like a zombie....

This is just great. I'm like a bear shot on the arse, as happy and loving. The baby shows no interest in the world on this side of the belly. I was given an overtime control appointment for 27th but I called the hospital and asked if there really isn't any free spot for me. They squeezed me in on the 23rd. Oh well, of course things didn't go as I had hoped for. Cub's frenulum couldn't be operated today. The specialist said it will require stitches and that according to his experience of 4-year olds, it is quite difficult to do in local anesthesia. Oh dear, I seem to have gotten the full house-wife-mother fixation about preserving stuff for the winter. I passed a strawberry stall yesterday, and just bought 5kg of strawberries. I had had no intension to put anything in the freezer but now I have them all frozen up. Next week I'll hit the currant and gooseberry bushes, heh heh. Okay, I'll do ( Read more... )

What a terrible evening. I took the dog out and I didn't even walk very fast but I started having contractions and they continued all evening until I went to bed. Even then I had a couple of really painful ones. Oh well, only a little over month to go anyway.
