I'm headed back up to Mb's shortly, for---? As long as she'll have me, I guess.

I'm hoping her lifestyle will continue to translate to weight loss, although I supposed it *could* be the decaf/desodafication kicking in.

As of this morning, I'm 268.5. (Yes, you read that right. I've dropped 10 pounds in a week and a half. Hells to the yes!)

Not only did Mb carry me away, she fed me ice cream, really GOOD ice cream---coconut chip, with shreds of real coconut and little shavings of dark chocolate, in a waffle cone. It was divine ( Read more... )

It took less than 24 hours after my return home for me to be reduced to a melting lump of misery.

Thank god for Mb, who has invited me to stay with her for a few days. For that, I will even put up with her flea-bitten cats!

Just a few more weeks until the heat *should* ease off. (Please, god....)

Very strange dream: I went over to Mb's, nothing planned, just popped in...her living room was almost empty. There was a new wing chair in a red and white kilim print, which I admired. I've been up at Mb's the last few nights---she picked me up Sunday evening, and I've been basking in her a/c. Downside: Her wireless is OOO and although I could look at my emails, she refuses to let me access LJ on her computer because she's convinced it's the sole cause of some problems she's had. If your ears are keen, you may have heard me squeeing. This evening, after Mb and I went out for "coffee", I came home to the new Entertainment Weekly in my mailbox, and thumbing through it, I found out that Alphas will be back on SYFY in a few weeks. Mb agrees with me that the haircut is BAD. I was at her place last night---A/C, fabu! and we took advantage of her local pizzaria's two-fer Tuesday deal. I'm over at J's after a few days at Mb's...I'm looking forward to spending the night in my own bed, sans cats.

I'm also looking forward to LOST, and I'm really glad that the frackin basketball playoffs are almost over. I don't care for basketball to begin with, and even less when it messes up my viewing habits.
