Tetsu was in his home sulking when he heard the knock on the door. Part of him didn't want to answer but the chance it might be Hyde had him on his feet heading to answer it straight away. He'd know Hyde had been happy, the other had been moody for awhile, but for him to suddenly announce there break up? Why now? They'd been living like this for so long the only thing that could have changed was that he had fallen in love. Tetsu knew exactly who was sweeping Hyde off his feet, changing him, luring him away from this life. He'd been a fool to pair Hyde up with the vocalist from his favourite band. What had he been thinking?
He'd been trying to cheer Hyde up, make him smile but he'd forgotten what Gackt was like. He was a womaniser and man eater wrapped up in the body of a single beautiful and talented man, nobody could resist him. Even a man with a heart as hard as Hyde's had become.
Did he truly mean it when he said he had to pay from now on? Tetsu hoped not, hoped the others words were only out of anger. If Hyde was here he'd apologise for being so stubborn, make it up to the other and try and win back his affections. Yes that was the best plan of action right?
He pulled open the door eagerly startled to find Yukihiro standing there and his hopes crashed. Hyde wasn't going to show up, the bastard had made it clear that from now on it was a business relationship. One he would walk out on if he was unhappy. Tetsu's anger and depression returned full force but he no longer felt like moping, it was time he took action. Hyde had cheated on him a million times, perhaps it was time he turned the tables and took revenge? He didn't even care who he cheated on Hyde with and on his door step was a man pretty enough and who'd eagerly kissed him before.
“I'm sorry I turned up out of the blue.” Yukihiro apologised seeing Tetsu's anger and mistaking it as the other being angry at him.
“What no, come in.” Tetsu replied easily. “For food and a beer you can listen to me moan.”
“I knew there was a catch.” Yukihiro teased but Tetsu was already heading towards the kitchen to prepare something for the other to eat as he plotted out his revenge.
“Help yourself to a beer.” Tetsu ordered as Yukihiro made his way into the kitchen but the other, who wasn't supposed to drink on duty, already had his cover.
“I don't drink any more, it's what got me into this mess.” Yukihiro admitted. “Waters fine.”
“Drink huh?” Tetsu asked. “I understand, gambling was my bane. Still paying of the debts. Stupid Yakuza thugs won't leave me alone.”
“You're indebted to the Yakuza?” Yukihiro repeated deliberately making sure his voice was clear for the hidden camera in the room. This would be evidence in court and he had to make sure Tetsu was giving a complete confession.
“Yeah.” Tetsu replied. “In a way I'm jealous, you might be at rock bottom but nobody will try to kill you if you slip and fall.”
“So how do you get the money to pay the Yakuza?” Yukihiro asked going straight for the kill.
“I run a small business.” Tetsu replied. “But let's not talk about that.”
“Why not? I thought you wanted to moan.” Yukihiro persuaded as a sandwich was dumped in front of him. Keeping in role of a starving tramp he grabbed the food and began eating straight away as him mind was on high alert for a confession that would stand up in court.
“One of my employees and I had an argument.” Tetsu replied. “He was my boyfriend once but now he's cut all ties. It seems he no longer even wants to be friends, but we still have to work together you know. It's not easy and our argument is still so raw. Help me forget?”
“I don't know how...” Yukihiro began but Tetsu was already on him claiming his lips with the other who was too shocked to react. So this was what Tetsu meant by 'help me forget.'? What should he do? If he slept with the man he'd be a lot closer, the other would be more likely to confide in him and the job would be finished sooner but could he do that? Startled Yukihiro realised that he could, it'd be no issue to sleep with this man who was attractive enough. He even had a personality Yukihiro could have grown to love in different circumstances and so forgetting everything Yukihiro melted into Tetsu's arms and allowed the other to kiss him returning the passion as arousal began to build up within him.
Somehow they made it into Tetsu's bedroom, wrapped together they fell on the bed having already lost the majority of their clothes along the way. Anything left was quickly ripped off and Yukihiro found himself on his stomach groaning as Tetsu's arousal was slid inside him, the only precautions being a condom and lube. It hurt but the pain was soon replaced by pleasure and Yukihiro let Tetsu use him knowing the other man needed it, he needed to forget. Startled Yukihiro realised he cared about the other man and cursed himself as it would compromise his mission.
It was only after, as Tetsu had worked through his anger and was thanking him with a thousand kisses that Yukihiro realised that his mission wasn't compromised at all. He could care for this man and still work for his arrest. If Tetsu truly had the Yakuza after him then he'd be safer in jail, protected and cared for by the state. Perhaps confinement would be the peace Tetsu so clearly needed?
Hyde was almost in tears when he arrived at Gackt's hotel room but the vocalist said nothing and let him in without a word. This hadn't been arranged, Hyde wasn't being paid to be here, but it was clear he needed a shoulder to cry on. Besides Gackt had truly meant it when he said he wanted Hyde's love and so for him to turn up here in his hour of need was only a sign of how much of the others affection he already controlled.
“It's OK, let it out.” Gackt ordered before Hyde could say a word and the other fell into his arms and began to cry clutching onto the vocalist as he let it all out. It was only when his sobs had calmed down that Gackt led him to the sofa and held him still as the other worked through his misery.
“He found someone else already!” Hyde exclaimed finally.
“Tetsu?” Gackt guessed.
“Yeah, I broke up with him last night, told him it was over.” Hyde explained. “I shouldn't be so upset but... I’ve always thought he loved me. That he cared. I'd never have given up everything for him otherwise. I thought, no matter what, he'd care. I expected apologises and gifts. I'd have rejected them but he didn't even try. He's found someone else already! It's wrong that I care right?”
“No, not wrong.” Gackt reassured him. “You care about him and thought he cared back. It might not have been a conventional relationship but he found someone else before even trying to get you back. I'd be angry if it was me. Angry and betrayed.”
“I am.” Hyde agreed as his phone rang. Pulling it out he glanced at the screen to see it was Tetsu calling and rejected the call without thought. “Tetsu, I'm meant to be working right now.”
“You're having a sick day, for your mental health.” Gackt replied firmly taking the phone away from the other and turning it off before placing it on the table. Nervously Hyde glanced at the phone and then at the vocalist. He wasn't meant to turn it off when at work, it was meant to be there in case he needed help but he wasn't working and there was nothing Gackt would do to him that he'd mind so he left the phone off.
“I'm sorry I turned up like this.” Hyde apologised. “I shouldn't be burdening a client like this but there's something about you that makes me want to confide everything too.”
“It's fine.” Gackt reassured him. “Remember my goal is too seduce you, I'm getting a chance to do it for free.”
“You can have me for free tonight.” Hyde offered.
“No, you're not having sex tonight. I won't allow it.” Gackt replied firmly. “You're too upset and confused. You broke up with him because I'm winning didn't you?”
“I broke up with him because our relationship had no future. Had no point.” Hyde argued. “It's trapped me for so long. So put your ego aside, it has nothing to do with you.”
“Off course not.” Gackt replied in such a tone that said the exact opposite.
“Can we go out?” Hyde asked. “Do something crazy and fun that will make me forget everything? I want to just have fun for the sake of having fun. It's been awhile.”
“I have just the idea.” Gackt replied with a smile.
Hyde had been nervous at first having never ridden a motorbike before but Gackt was a good teacher and now he was riding around the bike track at a steady 30 mp/h feeling the exhilaration of danger wash away his worries. This was fun and exciting and exactly what he needed to feel better. Gackt was behind him keeping watch as they rode around the empty race track with nothing but the powerful overhead lights for company. Gackt must have paid a lot to get the course open especially for them but would except nothing but a thank you from Hyde. He truly was treating him like his prince tonight and Hyde was relieved to find he had made the right choice tonight. Tetsu be damned, he was having fun and putting his own needs first for once in his life.
They completed the first circuit and Gackt overtook him speeding ahead like a bullet let out from a gun. It was enough to make Hyde go faster but he made no effort to catch up. He wouldn't be able to drive so fast, it wasn't safe for a beginner like himself. Gackt deserved his fun and so Hyde focused on his own fun, ignoring everything and simply riding the bike as if he was running away from the pain of the past. As long as he kept going then he'd be happy.
Eventually Gackt lapped him waving as he did so and Hyde laughed at the vocalists antics bemused that he could take pleasure in beating a beginner at something he was clearly experienced in. He probably took pleasure at beating a child at snakes and ladders Hyde thought. This was the real Gackt, the one hidden from the media, and Hyde loved him flaws and all. In that moment he realised it didn't matter what his future held for him, Gackt had been such a good friend to him tonight when he so desperately needed a friend too offer him support. He was no fool, he knew Gackt had ulterior motives but they were innocent and Gackt had always been honest about what they were.
Eventually the man who owned the track appeared and it was clear there time was up and so they left the course and went for dinner at a restaurant that had just been about to close. Again Gackt's influence kept it open and they soon found themselves dinning alone in a quiet romantic corner.
“Gackt I feel like I owe you so much.” Hyde complained as he stared at the prices with horror. “I can't accept this as well.”
“Next night is free.” Gackt informed Hyde. “How does that sound?”
“Is that even fair?” Hyde asked. “You've spent so much already...”
“Money doesn't mean much when your rich.” Gackt reassured him. “I'd call it fair.”
“Tetsu will be so mad.” Hyde replied with a pleased smile. “I ran off tonight and now you're claiming another night when I won't get paid.”
“Good.” Gackt responded and Hyde nodded his agreement. Tetsu had hurt him but it no longer mattered, he'd finally managed to cut the emotional chains that had bound him for so long. He was truly free now, free to love again and already he was beginning to wonder if Gackt's desire was so unattainable after all. Perhaps he could give up the job and be his? Problem was, no matter how much he might complain, he still enjoyed his line of work and the perks it could bring. He wasn't ready to give all that up but that didn't mean love couldn't factor into the equation.
