It's funny [to me] reading the UCD LJs as they graduate or leave town.... with people going OMG I'm gonna miss Davis so much <3 juxtaposed against... well, your post :P (I personally am a bit indifferent, maybe a bit nostalgic when I left, but probably revisiting in a month when I hit the bay.) ~ I guess it's what people made of the experience.

I have two jobs and average about $250-300 every two weeks. However, after I pay for lessons, food, and misc, I'm down to a little over half that. What you need to pay attention to is how much you're making for the effort and time you're putting in, then how much time you're putting in, and then what and how much your expenses are. Balancing all that is how you save money.
Dunno how you can get that kind of money in a month though. Beg your mom?
