How come I can't ever focus anymore? I'm constantly tired, for one thing (seriously, I take at least one nap a day, sometimes two, and I'm still constantly exhausted), so that makes things difficult... plus, it's finally the Christmas season, so I'm way distracted in that regard as well. The internet is doing a fine job of distracting me as well

ha! if you think the smoke in the UK is bad, don't goto like, any club in dallas. smoking is BANNED in restaurants...but encouraged so much in clubs that sometimes people from different cigarette companies (most often it's camel) GIVE OUT FREE PACKS OF CIGARETTES. seriously. really makes me worry about the state of well...my state.

Several states are catching up on the No Smoking thing. NY, for example. London might be a challenge there but, honestly, you'll get used to it.

I hate to break it to you, but Californians are even a rung lower than the typical American. People tend to think we're all from LA/Hollywood.

Please, whatever you do, just don't come back with a Kate accent ;)
