i'm at a complete loss. today has felt like one huge, ugly episode of the twilight zone and i'm /stuck/ in it.

it's too surreal to even articulate. pinch me, hard, please...

i'm into jeff buckley's version of leonard cohen's "hallelujah" and feeling it in so many ways. i never fought in vietnam-- it wasn't in my time-- but some things are too eternal, and they become relateable outside their immediate context.

monday i was an avalanche.
tuesday i was an accountant.
wednesday i was a disappointment.
thursday i was a slacker.
friday i was holding burdens.

and i'm tired. there's too much to say. and i don't want anyone to listen anymore.

i think going back to california gave me a dose of reality. or, just helped me get back on track. i'm not doing cigarettes anymore, and i'm fascinated by piercings. i got a second hole and want to keep going with the ears. i've become more obssessed with gilmore girls, to the point that it is my lifeline. seattle feels like death sometimes, but ( Read more... )
