When Diziara heard the non-fleet phaser, she tucked away her "Type 1" and whipped out the Klingon disruptor. From the cover of the door, she looked back to see what was going on just in time to see Therav get hit the first time. She attempted to return fire, but couldn't see who was making the shots due to the curve of the corridor.
When Therav gave to order to go on, she initially turned to do as directed, seeing Sharad already ready to move forth as long as she was still on his heels. She only made it two steps further before she halted and spun on heel.
"He may be a bastard, but I don't leave a man behind," she growled, almost as if she were spitting out something that disgusted her.
"He's buying us time so we can make our objective, he'll just slow us down like that," Sharad insisted, grabbing her by her arm. She yanked herself free and made it back to the door frame in time to see Therav's attacker come into view.
