[Itachi's healing had taken longer than expected.  He would have been up earlier, but a combination of the nurses fretting during the time when he first woke up and Kisame urging him to heal fully before attempting to move had hindered any attempts.  That and the extreme pain that he felt when trying to stand up or when he moved too quickly

[ So guess who's just staring and not saying anything. :| I remember you. If Itachi listens hard though he'll hear the usual white noise of nothing but there is something. ]

[ Video ] Sorry for the last tag! This week has been a busy one

[It takes him a moment, but he does stop and listen for a moment before facing the gear. He isn't one hundred percent sure that it's on, but he has a hunch that it is, since it usually doesn't make noise (even the faintest of noises) when it is off.]

[It takes him a moment, but he eventually grabs the gear and brings it up closer to him.]

Ah...it's you. It's been some time since we've last spoken, but I do recognize your voice.

I would have assumed my ailment would have been obvious to those who still have their sight.
