[Itachi's healing had taken longer than expected.  He would have been up earlier, but a combination of the nurses fretting during the time when he first woke up and Kisame urging him to heal fully before attempting to move had hindered any attempts.  That and the extreme pain that he felt when trying to stand up or when he moved too quickly ( Read more... )

[A week has passed since Itachi fell into his coma.  Not much has really happened, since coma patients are not exactly the most exciting around, but Itachi somehow looks much more frail than he looked a week ago.  Perhaps this is from sleeping for a week?]

It would seem that most of these strange eggs are beginning to hatch.  While I am still curious as to why we each received one, I cannot say I mind much in the slightest.  It saves me a great deal of trouble.

[Itachi's in Goldenrod now because...why the hell not?  Unfortunately, the sharingan requires chakra and he's still lacking that, so he doesn't get improved eyesight or anything special like that.  Just a warp to a new location.  Swell.]

He had been avoiding using it much since he had found out mostly through network stalking that his little brother had disappeared from this world.
