[ Hello again, Cherrygrove. Quistis went through this place so fast the first time, she barely remembers it, and as the feed comes up, she's looking around the snowy little city with a curious expression. ]

- didn't spend much time here on my way through, to be honest. Now that I look at it, it reminds me a little bit of my hometown, Balamb.

[ Rinoa's been on edge while waiting; she had never been the patient kind, and she's just this side of desperate to see a familiar face in-person.

Quistis'll find her sitting down, her hands under her rear, and swinging her legs to pass the time as she keeps a careful eye on the entrance. ]

[ Quistis is barely in the door when a smile breaks her face. Even the slightly tense conversation she just had with Leon is pushed to the back of her mind. ]

[ You can bet she's jumping up and giving Quistis a hug as soon as Rinoa registers her entrance. ]

[ And Quistis is more than happy to hug her back, squeezing her tight before holding her at arm's length to look her over. ]

[ He's had a night to sleep on it, plus he's alone on the road for now, or at least until he meets up with Lightning. He sounds...tired. ]

She didn't...do anything.

[ And it's true! Because it's not the same girl. Quistis is welcome to recognize that his tone is very, very closed off. ]

[ Now is possibly not the time Quistis should be making this call at all. She's been on the road all night after a terse conversation with Rinoa about Squall being a dick, so she's really not in the mood for Leon to be walling himself off like this. ]

Then what's your problem, exactly?

[ Luckily, she recognizes her tone as soon as it comes out, and stops short. ]

[ He's spent eleven years walling himself off because of this girl--and the circumstances surrounding her, of course, not just her--he's not gonna stop now! Sorry, Quistis. He does, however, concede that he was being a jerk, obvjectively speaking. That said, he's not really ready to deal with this. Not yet, at any rate. He sighs. ]

[ He rubs the bridge of his nose before finally meeting her eyes. ]

[ He can't make any promises, but...it'll even out. Eventually. ]

[ She sighs, but she's relenting; you can see it in the subtle drop of her shoulders. For a moment, she's quiet, too, but then she nods. ]

[ She wants to say something else, but she isn't sure what, so she refrains altogether. ]

[ Quistis looks up from her 'Gear at hearing her name, then smiles at the familiar face. ]

Nanao. Good to see you. [ A beat, then: ] How's your arm doing?

It's good to see you too. {She rubs her arms in memory.} They're much better, and, luckily enough I managed to catch one of the ones that did it.
