I'm not very good at giving advice on these kinds of matter for several reasons, and I don't want to tell you something corny or give bad advice. Maybe you should try to feel things out and see how he responds?

Maybe. It's just...there are so many reasons why it wouldn't work out (one of them being I'm pretty sure he likes someone else), so sometimes it's just easier to not even try.

Yeah, I didn't want to be all like, "Go ahead and try!" and then you end up getting rejected. That's an ugly feeling. :/
