My iPod won't turn off. WTF? I go through the usual steps to do a power-down, but it won't turn off. I don't think I can do a simple reset, as it requires you to turn the unit off as one of the steps, if memory serves.

Any ideas?

For any of you really up on iPods and iMusic, I have a problem. My iMusic was corrupted when my PC went down. I fixed the PC, then reloaded iMusic. My iPod has over 60 CDs in it, and I don't want to reload all that stuff. But when I run iMusic, it wants to resync, but only with a newly (empty) created library. They could not find out what was wrong with him at the hospital, other than he's just getting old (he's 88). So today or tomorrow he's being transferred to a skilled nursing facility, and being evaluated by a hospice (?!?) worker. This time it doesn't look like he'll be springing back like the last time. I finally had some time to process some of the pics I took of the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego, California, during my Christmas trip last year. This is the "original" lighthouse built in the 1800's.
