Yes, that was the distracting thing I was (not) telling you about. The heels were ridiculous, especially when she was running around on the grating in the labs. I chalked it up to being "authentic comic-book."

Have you seen this website? I don't see anything specifically about Ironman, but it is cool none the less.

hahahahahahahaha, the movie you were describing was "Electra". So, you know, you can enjoy that one.

Oh, and I thought the fact that whatsherface DIDNT sleep with him was one of the best parts of the movie. I mean the whole expectation is that hes gonna get the girl, and she refuses him, and not because shes worried that hes married to his superherohood or because shes afraid of his dangerous world, but because he was a thoughtless dick, and she knows hes always gonna be a thoughtless dick, and she doesnt wanna get romantically/sexually involved with that, even if she is attracted to him ( ... )

I never saw aeon flux but i meant to. Didnt see catwoman either, but I heard it was bad. I did see Electra, which was bad, but not quite as bad as people said.

Ultra Violet was probably the worst film I ever saw in a movie theater. I was continually throwing up my hands in disbelief/exasperation, sighing loudly and rolling my eyes. I NEVER walk out on movies and I almost tried to drag four friends out with me.

What does it say when all (maybe not Aeon Flux) superhero movies starring girls suck? Hopefully we can count on Joss not to screw up wonder woman.

Does fifth element count? that was pretty good.

Not actually, alas.

The best example I can think of for a girl-kicking-ass movie is Tank Girl who at least doesn't wear skintight vinyl and ridiculous high heels ...

And yeah, even in the midst of my ridiculous fangirl squeeing, I was annoyed at Pepper wobbling around in that stupid, stupid outfit.

Ghost in the shell! The commander is totally a bad ass.

You don't give real world women enough credit. They inspire pretty deep feelings, eh? And cook and clean, and everything! Its amazing.
