If this isn't blasphemy, I don't know what is.

... but then, what do I know about religion anyway?

Isn't anything that makes religion seem cool, good? Even corny cool? Except Madonna of course. How dare she!

My personal favorite:

In the exciting conclusion, Bibleman is lured into a showdown with Primordius Drool - if Bibleman is defeated the Biblecave will be sealed forever and Drool’s wicked scheme to turn every believer into an atheist will succeed. In the action-packed finale Cypher and Biblegirl come to the rescue and put their faith on the line to overcome Primoridius Drool, Inter-Galactic Desperado and Despot of Evil.

I also like the fact that one of the chief villains is "Wacky Protester." Hmmm... subtlety is clearly not an attribute the makers of "bibleman" possess. Possess? Who's possessed?

So is post a reaction to the entire Islamic population of the world ready to declare war on the EU for those comics featuring Mohammed, or is this just a coincidence?

If by "blasphemous" you mean "hilarious," I totally agree.

Not a reaction at all- I just happened upon it. (All right, I give, it was on the Slog.)
And frankly, I'm really hoping that it's not the entire Islamic population of the world, because it's a little ridiculous to get worked up about it considering that a.) there are apparently plenty of cartoons and murals portraying Muhammad in the Islamic world and b.) certain fundamentalist Islamic countries run TV shows portraying Jews as blood-drinking, baby-eating devils on a daily basis.

I never suggested that the offended parties weren't overreacting; it's understandable that muslims might be annoyed at the portrayal of Muhammad coming from some western newspaper cartoonist that. If someone parodies something people strongly believe in with a heavily negative slant, it can rub people the wrong way. If that's the case, flood the newspaper with letters to the editor. At the very least, it's polite and it gets the point across to the newspaper staff. To go to the extent that some of the Islamic people have gone as reported in the news (boycotting Danish goods, holding street protests) is pretty extreme.
