Incidentally, I was thinking there was another actor that I always think of as being identical to Bill Bixby, but I couldn't remember his name. I remembered he was on Mayberry RFD, though, so I was able to look him up. Ken Berry.

Sunny suggested Rowan Atkinson as the lord, but I was seeing someone much older and heavy-set. Sort of like the guy who played the Major on Fawlty Towers.
