Elena Gilbert Appreciation Week, Day Two (Nov. 6) - favorite Elena scene/moment

Now, I already wrote about my favorite Elena moment. Here. Granted, it was a year ago, but it would still be terribly boring to repeat it again. So I'm going to talk about my favorite s4 moment

LOL This post of yours is like prelude in one of the reasons I ship Delena. While it's true that Damon has this picture of Elena in his mind that is not completely true, I think Damon's picture is the closest to the truth but also the most irrelevant because I feel like Damon very rarely actually expects her to conform to anything, even his own idea of who she is. That's the reason I ship Delena because they define unconditional in unconditional love. Some might argue that Elena's love for Damon is not in fact unconditional but I would disagree. I think that the fact that it is so unconditional is what frightens and confuses her the most.
Now I think Elena Gilbert is the queen and most of all I think she a glorious predator and that makes her even more of a favorite character for me. Excellent post!^.^

Yes, that would be one of my reasons to ship D/E as well :). I mean, Damon projects on Elena like whoa, just like Stefan, but the difference is that Elena actually is a lot like Damon, so he often just happens to be right about her. Pure coincidence. The beauty if it is, he doesn't have the power over her to make her live up to his expectations when they're wrong.

I'll stop now, before I vomit rainbows all over unconditional love. I'll save them for Day Four ;).

But yay Elena anyway, because I'm sure the moment you picked was good.

It's not about his victim (if it was about saving the victim, Elena would've moved the roofied drink out of the way). She just didn't like him.

Eventually she will kill someone, and despite of what we might like to think, it won't be the end of the world. She'll get over it, and she'll still be Elena. It won't break her. Deal with it.
