And tax time is upon us.  Now, I am not one to shirk my duties.  As a US Citizen I dutifully  file my tax forms with the IRS and do so with no small amount of joy angst.  For those of you whom have never worked abroad, this post may do 1 of 3 things.

So I was asked to be one of the opening acts for a comedian from NY here in Helsinki on October 8th.  Now..I had writer's block until Monday night when I was falling asleep..

The debate I am going through now in my head is if I use some of my stuff from my 1st gig and work in the new stuff...hmmmmm. discuss...

...bleh....

...struggling to get my neurons firing...must have a new set by next Thursday - all written and ready to be performed...SHOOT ME

So I have been trying to get up the above mentioned item in sufficient quantities to update and post something here on my blogidy blog blog.  I have been unsuccessful so far.  I mean I have a bit of energy, but it seems the creative neurons are just fat out pooped lately.  Now it could have something to do with the fact that I just spent  2 weeks ( Read more... )

So last night was my stand-up gig here in Finland.  I must say that I was extremely nervous before hand.  I have this incurable version of stage fright - nausea, shakes, heart racing - right up to the point that I actually step foot on the stage...then all that anxiety goes to play with the Ether Bunny.

Weekend Recap:
Friday night we decided to stay in.  Met da Finn (tm) at the open air market (go local whenever possible people) only to find that they were all closed up at 4pm?
