I cannot recommend it enough.
Perhaps not a novel to make you believe in God, but certainly one that makes you wish you could.

Sometimes I hate the city.
Living next to a bar and a construction site is one of the most frustrating things in the world if you value sleep. Bars in New York close at 4, and construction starts at 6.
