Friday Vang took Sydney Li to the nail salon with him for the whole day. Its been a while since they've been on a date so it was fun for her. She brought toys and coloring books and they have satelite tv so she was entertained when he was busy with clients. He took her to lunch and dinner at McDonalds and gave her a manicure, a wax foot

Sounds like you had a great time! Wish I could have been there. Was the Eckerts that you went to in Illinois (Belleville)? The only reason I ask, is because I used to work there when I was taking care of the elderly. I used to take care of the oldest member of the Eckerts family and let me tell you, she sure could cook. She was a very sweet lady and always had peaches and apples in her freezer and fresh on the tables! Sounds like you gusy are having fun. Miss you like crazy. Hug and kiss your family for me. And give Kiki a great big hug for me!!!

I am not sure where we were! We ucusally go to the one near the river where all the flooding was in '93. But this year we decided to ty the other one which turned out to be big enough to host its own restaurant. Not that we ate anything but funnel cake. Lots and lots of funnel cake .
