Vash slunk into the cafeteria, hands shoved into his pockets. He really didn't know what to think, now that the priest was here. On the one hand, it was someone he knew, and someone he sort of kind of trusted on Tuesdays when the little sun was highest. But on the other hand... if Wolfwood were here... how many others from back home would be?

And besides. He had a terrible poker face.

He spotted Hakkai, and casually made his way towards the brunette, lifting a gloved hand in a subdued hello.

Wolfwood was relieved beyond measure to have that awful suit gone; he was much more comfortable in what he liked to think of as his "suave-priest" getup, with the collar undone to reveal tanned and well-muscled chest, his hair combed back and his trademark sunglasses resting atop his head. Not that there were any ladies around to impress in this poker game, but still, it never hurt to be prepared ( ... )

Slinking up behind Hakkai, Gojyo gave Vash a cheerful wave, before going back to munching on his slice of toast. He wondered how the tall blonde would react to him, since the last time they'd been together, he'd been naked.

And he sincerely hoped he wouldn't say anything about it to Hakkai. That could be awkward.

"Ah, good, we're all here!" Hakkai said with a genuine smile. "Does anyone have any preference in regards to rules?"

[[lol, Hakkai-mun has very little idea how poker is played ~ Please excuse me while I wiki the subject. XD]]

Hakkai's redheaded friend was much more acceptable to look at with his clothes on. And probably talk to, for that matter. He returned the wave with one of his own, his attention distracted by the black-suited individual now entering the area.

Vash raised an eyebrow. The priest didn't look that good. But, it wasn't as if anyone could possibly look good chewing on a stick. Briefly, he wondered at that choice, and then, like a rock to the face, it hit him.

There were no cigarettes here.

Stiffling a groan of dismay, Vash made his way over to the table, motioning Wolfwood to join them. "Uh... not really," he admitted, when Hakkai asked the question.

"Thanks, Vashu," Wolfwood said with a slightly weak smile, collapsing artlessly into the chair in front of him in a long-limbed sprawl. He'd noticed the metaphorical light bulb going off over the blond's head about his cigarette stick (well, it was hard not to notice, the man's facial expressions were like an open book to Wolfwood) and gave him a tired smirk in acknowledgment.

"So, Hakkai, nice to finally meet you in person. And hey, guess we could always make it up as we go. Teams of two?" Glancing across the table to the tall snazzy-looking redhead eating toast, he commented, "and you must be Hakkai's friend Gojyo. I'm Wolfwood, and I look forward to kicking your ass. Unless we're playing together, in which case, I look forward to kicking their asses with you." He thumbed at Vash and Hakkai, looking far too innocent for their own good.
