Things are going pretty well. In July we had a big shakeup at work. They appointed a new Dean of the College of Engineering, who appointed a new Chair of the School of Industrial Engineering, who appointed a new director of IT, aka new boss for me. Mt brother said he may be moving out, as soon as two weeks from now. Faced with the potential loss of 1/3rd of my mortgage money, I had to cancel my lease on my studio. I still have it for two months so I'm shooting all I can until then.

I should know in a few weeks if my brother is leaving, and if I need a new roommate.

I went to Highlander last night for Nick's farewell trivia. We lost, and Nick will be leaving town in shame, but that's another story. At one point Nick wandered off, then returned with a girl named Urmy. She said she was a sociology PhD at Emory, and had a mildly terrified look in her eyes as she watched us.

So I am now the proud owner (leaser?) of a photography studio. By photography studio I mean "big room with plenty of space and high ceilings." It's at The B ComplexIt's costing me a lot of money.
