Things are going pretty well. In July we had a big shakeup at work. They appointed a new Dean of the College of Engineering, who appointed a new Chair of the School of Industrial Engineering, who appointed a new director of IT, aka new boss for me. The new boss is a guy I've been friends with for years, so it seems to be working out.
I got booked to perform my 13th wedding this week. It's in Las Vegas in February, and may involve me dressing as Elvis.
I'm headed out to Burning Man again this year. It's going to be a heck of a trip, since I'll be driving out with a couple of friends. We have 3 days to drive the 2500 miles out there, then stay for a week, then drive all the way back in two more days.
Today makes 4 years since I quit smoking.
Life seems very busy these days and it's pretty much all cool stuff.
