I was thinking about that earlier, actually. Not that I exactly like the idea of risking anyone else, but... I wonder if there could be a surefire way of provoking a kidnapping, after planning ahead for such an occurrence.

[He'll leave out details on how to plan ahead over the journals, but he's thinking of things one could try to have along and record the experience, things that could be well concealed. HE'S DETERMINED TO TRY despite how futile it all seems.]

Between us, we could have the beginnings of a really good plan. It's funny, it was so easy for me to piss off the higher-ups back home... finding a way to catch the attention is a little bit more of a challenge here.

[Mulder's apartment is pretty average in furniture, though he's already amassed a fair amount of papers and files which are stacked all over most tables and surfaces. There's also a few library books on various supernatural phenomena spread around. There's also a fishtank in one corner, which currently has... one sad goldfish swimming in it.]
