It seems like only last week the days lasted until long after nine o'clock. It's already dark at eight-thirty, now. Autumn is coming and it's my favorite time of year. The days are hot but the evenings are cool and crisp and the girls want to cuddle with the guys (or at least with the ones who aren't me) to stay warm. The air even smells better ( Read more... )

The three months of big projects are finally over and I'm on vacation. I can now return to my regularly scheduled slow, boring days at work. Woohoo!

Now I'm off to GenCon and a weekend of game-geekiness.

Last Wednesday I made arrangements with my manager to get back the two vacations days I worked in July, plus a comp day for all the overtime. Starting 8/29, I was gonna have nothing to do.
