auspicious date for an inauspicious post
Well, I'm back from nowhere. I'm at work and I have no idea what I should be doing so I'm posting on LJ. Life seems to be right where I left it.
I just read through the last week of LJ posts. I swear I wasn't ignoring you before. Okay, I was ignoring you, but it's not because I don't like you.
I did fuck all last week, really. Cody, Melissa and I stood in line forever at D*Con Saturday and that was the extent of my interaction with the world outside my condo. My apologies to those of you I intended to see at Drive Invasion. I woke up that morning feeling like Hell and didn't really feel better until Tuesday or so. See what not drinking caffeine will do for you?
Yes, I'm decaffeinated again.
For various reasons I got none of the stuff I wanted to accomplish last week accomplished. Laziness was chief amongst them. I did read two-and-a-half novels -- speculative fiction of speculative quality. Mmm... brain candy.
I talked to Mike, too. He's going to try to visit in October. I'm gonna see about getting tickets to a Thrashers game while he's here.
