Postcards are finally arriving! I mailed them from NZ on Oct 11. The first few people got theirs last week. Other folks got them Monday and yesterday.

I'm all set for holiday travel. Thanksgiving in Texas and then my father's birthday in December. What, you didn't know my father was celebrated with a holiday? I just created it. National "skiers-jack-up-the-prices-so-i'm-visiting-for-your-birthday" Day. It's observed on December 4.

I've got questions for my Spanish teacher next time we meet. I eavesdropped on a group of Spanish speakers on MARTA who and an accent totally unidentifiable by me. They talked very slowly with an almost sing-song rhythm.
