Yearly letter to Father Christmas
Rock Soc pub crawl last night was quite fun, although my coat managed to get lost/stolen in The Foundry when I've owned it all of a month. Grrrr. Hopefully it *may* turn up but I sort of doubt it. The Rock Soc Hallowe'en Ghost Walk went fairly well, although to begin with I was faintly terrified it was going to be a terrible disaster, it was also very, very cold. Continuation onto pub crawl was fun however ( Read more... ) -

I have been back in Canterbury since Saturday, which was Paul's birthday. Went round for wine and cheese evening, and got most appaling drunk. To the extent that I believe I asked, as we were watching Casina Royale, "which one is batman?! I mean... robinhood?" Not my finest moment, admittedly. So, home. Little bit dull really, although waiting on a reply from my cousin so I can hopefully go and see his baby in a bit. Currently I'm feeling really tired. This is my own fault since I was up till 2 o clock last night doing reading for my two seminars today at 9am, Friar Bacon and Friar Bungay plus critical texts, and Piers Ploughman which is one of the most tedius/weirdest things I've read, the fact that it is written in middle english doesn't make life aaany ( Read more... )
