Last night I had a really weird dream and I don't know if I should blame this on the House M.D. marathon that teh_farmer and I are currently doing ( Read more... )

You have an autoimmune disease???? Why didn't you tell me? :( I hope it is NOT a serious one! :((((( I say this because there are so many. I have one too. Environmental allergies. But that is nothing because autoimmune diseases run all the way from allergies to cancer. :((

On a lighter note, though, LMAO @ your dream, although it sounds completely awesome! I love House too and have the first 3 seasons, but I stopped watching after that for no reason other than I got too busy for watching much live TV! I prefer to collect the DVDs. XD

Diego Forlan as a doctor sounds appropriate somehow. I can truly see him as an MD! XDDDD

Btw, have you seen the short list for this year's Golden Ball winner? It's between Iniesta, Forlan and Wesley Schneider! I think Diego has a GREAT chance of winning it! XDDDDDDDDD

LOL @ the Spanish translations! I had a little book as well, that gave ALL the Spanish swear words! My favourite: capullo: dickhead. LMAO.

Yeah, I have Crohn's. It's not THAT serious, thank God, and most of the time it's manageable. But it does suck to be in the middle of an exacerbation, which I was for almost two months. But UGH, environmental allergies sound a lot worse! O_O Poor you! *hugs*

My dream WAS awesome! I seriously didn't want to get out of bed! XD Imagine Forlán as a doctor, and such a clever one too! Good thing I'm so shy, or I would have been all over him and caused major embarrassment in my parents. XD

OMG, I love Iniesta and Sneijder, but in all honesty, Diego deserves it the most. I so hope he'll win it!!

LOL, capullo! That sounds awesome! Will keep it in mind! XDDD

Ah, Crohn's. Two of my son Jamie's friends had it as well. It's certainly not fun to have that, but I know they felt better on special diets and the proper medicine. :) But those flare-ups can be so unpleasant. :(

OMG I LOVE those dreams that are so lovely and seem so real! I could just imagine you falling in love with a doctor like Forlan! XDDD

LOL @ embarrassing your parents! XD

I agree! Diego deserves it the most, so I certainly hope he gets it.♥

Do you know what medicine they're taking? Because my doctor said he doesn't want to give me cortison because it has too many unpleasant side effects, so I'm taking a weaker medicine that only affects the part of my body that it's supposed to affect, instead of everything else. But of course that means it's not strong enough to make the pain go away when it's really bad.

LOL, falling for Dr Forlán is clearly NOT difficult. XDDD

GO DIEGO!

That Spanish phrase book isn't the Lonely Planet one is it, because I also have translations like that in mine and also my French book :p

I don't really remember, I didn't look at the book that closely, but I'll check next time I see it! :D Those translations ROCK. XDD

Hahaha, that is for sure an awesome dream! Señor Forlán as an MD. Priceless. (And House, MD. owns, anyway!)

Hope that autoimmune disease isn't too tough to deal with. :o(

Totally priceless! It made my day! :D (House owns indeed!)

It's not a big deal in general, but it does suck to be in the middle of an exacerbation for almost two months. When that happens, not even the meds help. But the great thing is that they pass.

I'm spending my summer doing multiple sclerosis research, and man, I wish the doctors I work with were Diego Forlan. it would make working 50 hours a week a lot more enjoyable. :)

Oooh, sounds interesting! Good luck with your research! I have a lot of admiration for doctors, and it just figures that I pictured Diego Forlán as one. I have a lot of admiration for him as well. :)

Holy shit. And I complain about having to work 42 hours. O__O Poor you! But you can always imagine having Dr Forlán doing research with you, right? ;)

Ohh you going to Bilbao? You'll get rain sure :P.

I'm sorry about Chron's. I have another friend with it and for what she told me it's painful :(. I have my own autoimnune diseases and I know how much they suck :(

LOL LOL Now I want to know how they translated that xD

The weather forecast says 25 to 29 degrees and sunny/slightly cloudy, so I'm hoping. ;)

It can be painful, yes, but thankfully it's manageable most of the time. And you have autoimmune diseases too? I didn't know! Sorry to hear it! What do you have (if that's not too nosy of me)?

I visited the friend again tonight and checked:

1. Lo siento, no puedo levantarla.
2. No te preocupes, lo hago yo.

And another one for your amusement:

3. Oye rico/-a, por qué no te vas a tomar por el culo.

LOL!

We'll see :P

I think we talked about this too. It's nothing too extreme but like all chronic diseasses it's annoying. I have atopic dermatitis which comes with environmental allergies and asthma. It makes my flares during spring interesting. (and for interesting I mean I spend way too much time in the ER)

XDDDD I love 3. (And I use it too much)

I remember now! Yes, that sounds really annoying. :/ *hugs* (Fortunately it's not spring all the time. O___O)

LOL, we were wondering if anyone actually said those things or if they were just literal translations - now I know! XDD
