Thanks to the absolutely wonderful bavarian_angel, last Saturday was an absolutely brilliant day for me. She had bought tickets for the Munich derby (Bayern München vs 1860 München) and kindly invited me to join her. However, it would have been a shame if we had just met up for the game, so we decided to spend some more time together in Munich.

We were second to last row (also lower terrace) and the places were awesome as well. I have never thought that the seats are that great. We sat a little bit nearer at the center line (Block 121).

And we have soooo awesome pictures. I was at some games in the last time but I never had such great photos. Okay, I never had my dad and his reflex camera with me as well.

It wasn't exactly the most thrilling game I ever saw but who cares? I was just wondering about what Ribery was doing. Eh? But Toni Kroos. Hell. I couldn't stop gushing about his skills. :D

I'm glad you had a good time watching the game. You're right, it wasn't really the best of games, but it was great to see the boys again, and some of them played rather well! Toni Kroos, for example! ♥

Good game review - I fell off my barstool when Striker Dan came into the game. But I was SO MAD - stuuupid BR (the local station broadcasting the game) hardly showed him at all... so I had no idea what he did on the field. Lucky you - got to see him live and in action!! (OK, here comes a stupid Fangirl comment-- what on earth posessed him to wear that funny little white elastic headband-thingy? Even my husband noticed it and said something - and he's so NOT a Fangirl... he said "it looks like he's wearing his girlfriend's panties around his head.) I couldn't really see what happened, didn't even know who got the yellow card (it didn't show on the screens, and when the referee held up the card, Lucio and Micho were standing next to each other), so I really need to check if I can download the match somewhere, because I NEED TO SEE THAT. *fans self* Too hot.
