Only 4 days left before I leave for my trip to Colorado. I haven't had a nice riding vacation for almost a year, so this should be a nice break. Mounted a new set of Pirelli Diablo's, and a big Rifle screen, which should help a lot, since I'm going to spend 1000 miles on the interstate on the way there. Anybody have any experience with Verizon Wireless? Namely, their customer service / tech support, as well as the actual cell phone service? I love T-Mobile, but I have to stand next to the window of my apartment to get ANY reception with it - walk away from the window, lose the signal. Went to the International Motorcycle show on Saturday. I have to say I'm slightly disappointed. I had a list of bikes I wanted to sit on, and some of them were not accessible, and others weren't even there. I did get to sit on an ST1300, RC51, Superhawk, R1200GS, Aprilia Mille R and Ducati 999. I'm back from Seattle. It was interesting until the chain/sprockets went and I had to stay an extra day in freaking Dickinson, ND, where the wind was a constant 40 - 50 mph! But I'm home now.

So I bought this 1995 KLR 650 with 16,000 miles on it. It's in Seattle. Guess what I'm doing this Labor Day weekend? ATA flight to Seattle on Friday night. Leaving Seattle Saturday afternoon. 3000 miles and 4.5 days later I'll be back, with 19000 miles on the KLR :)
