PROPHETIC DREAMS ARE NOT GOOD THINGS JENNY, GO GO GO. Seriously for a few comments there I was like GAHHHHHH GO GO ACTION JENNY, DO A SPELL AND FIX THINGS, GO GO GO. But then adorbs bb!Giles walked on and I was like d'awwwwwwww XD

ANYWAY - I'm SO happy you enjoyed this little 'lead-in' chapter. I always wondered how things happened on Giles' side in canon -- how he became involved with the Coven in the first place. (My take on it? He was totally nailing one of the witches. Because, let's face it -- after he lost Jenny, he became kind of a slut. :P)
Total nerd, but I loved Vivian hugging Jenny <3 I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE A FANTASTIC RELATIONSHIP, all respect and teacher-student and full of witchy awesome. YOU ARE TOO CUTE. Hehehe. I'm actually really looking forward to utilizing Vivian a little more -- I really do want to build on her relationship with Jenny. Even Jenny needs someone to look up to and learn from. :)
I always loved how Willow literally absorbed all that power from the books, with that fantastic imagery of the words streaming up her skin - and, from Giles' POV, it's so powerful, like she's using ( ... )

EEEEEEEEK! More dreams! And Jenny can't sleep!!! Poor thing. :-( She needs all the sleep she can get... especially now... hmmmm curious... :-D
Oh, and poor Tara. This one totally shocked me during the show. It was so sad/traumatizing/unexpected/etc. that is to say it was so Joss *cough*evilgeniusbastard*cough*. But I will say, the evil that even unleashed in Willow was rather epic. And the scene with Warren in the woods - AWESOME and icky, at the same time ( ... )

ANYWAY. I'm glad you liked this chapter! As I mentioned above, I was always personally really curious as to how Giles got involved with all of this in the first place. So it was fun to get to write the unseen side of it, with Jenny thrown in. :D

I know how excited YOU are to write Grave and can I just say, THAT EXCITEMENT IS SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE! Hehe! YAAAAAY! I'm so happy you guys are all right there with me on this. I know I've said it a gazillion times before, but I was SO SO ready to write these two chapters. I've only been planning them since... forever, it seems, LOL. I had the actual ending of 'Grave' written out in May, and I've been slowly planning how I wanted to 'execute' these chapters for close to a year now. So, suffice it to say, I'm so excited to be where I am in this story right now. And even more excited that I have you guys to share it with. :D :D :D
I loved the image of how Giles looked in his PJ's and all that. He is so cute. I think I need a Giles just for that added cuteness in my life. Hell.. EVERYBODY could use a Giles in their life. I absolutely love the way you've fitted Jenny into the Coven so seamlessly, brilliant writing on your behalf :) Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed that aspect of season six. They barely touched on it in the show, so I was thrilled at the prospect of getting to expand on it. :)
I thought it was particularly well done in 'Fortune Teller' as well, which by the way I think is my new favourite of mine! But I'll gush about that in the appropriate feedback slot :) Awww, well thank you! I really enjoyed writing that one as well -- it was fun getting to delve into Jenny's family history, and getting to tinker around with Angel's past. :D ( ... )

I actually specifically set up the whole 'inner-eye' thing as well as the Five Elements a few chapters ago, with this finale in mind. I always remembered the way Giles had an 'inner eye' on what was going on between Xander and Willow while he was kinda half-conscious, so I wanted to expand on it a little. :D
Giles in his pajamas is the cutest thing ever! I wish they would have shown him in them more on the show, hehehe. But then again, I think that man would look fabulous in pretty much anything. So maybe I'm not the best judge there. ;)
Plus poor, tired Jenny. She and Giles both take everything on their own shoulders, and blame themselves for everything. :( I always figured Jenny and Giles were a lot alike in that respect. You could see it ( ... )
