After I'd sat down to my biggest meal since contracting The Worst Plague Yet (pasta cooked and eaten in the same dish, to save on dishes), I sewed together all the various troll limbs that have been floating around, and I began to stuff.

And stuff.

And stuff.

And when I'd stuffed about 1/2 a kilo of fluff into each foot, I realised something was up.

It's good to hear that you're on the mend.

Also, those are some huge, huge feet! But if worse comes to worse and disaster strikes, they would come in handy as snow shoes, floating devices or skis. So think of them as survival enhancers, instead of humongous feet! :D

I say there's no need to go back to the drawing board, honestly. If you feel they're too big, turn him inside out again, stitch them down to a more reasonable size, and cut off the excess. Bet it'd save you time and resources, and still be awesome.

Oh, that's what I ended up doing. A few times. They're half the size now but they still look just as giant. Seriously, why didn't I notice the size discrepency when cutting out my pattern pieces?! How could I miss that his feet pieces were as big as his entire body?!
