I still can't wrap my head around it all...especially the ending. But that's why I write all this shit down, so my posts can be somewhat coherent.

As heartbreaking as this episode was...this is the reason I'm in total and complete love with this show and the writers.

but srsly...when Cas gave back the necklace, I was happy. I was waiting for him to slip it back on and be all 'ok...as long as we're together, they can suck it'
Then he walked with it still in his hand and I was all 'ok...maybe he'll slip it on la---WHAT IS HE DOING'
I can't believe the THREW IT OUT. he's had that shit since he was 13 years old dammit...and poor Sam.

I know! MTE! I was all happy skippy that we FINAALLLY got it back then he started walking and I was like "oh no oh no oh no SHIIIITTTTTT!" Sam has gotta be so heartbroken by that. But I will firmly stand to my beliefs that he picked it back up because he knows Dean didn't mean it and will want it back. *nods affirmatively*

it's like when you're in a fight and say 'i hate you' you don't mean it, and you hate that you did it later, but at that moment you had to.

Nope, that's it. In my mind. Sam has the amulet. he's gunna fucking keep it in his pocket or something and give it to Dean later on. like when Luci's back in cage. He'll give it back, they'll smile AND ALL WILL BE RIGHT WITH THE FANDOM WORLD.

Dean's just...happy. and Sam's just staring, kinda heartbroken. when he calls "Mom..." and she doesn't even hear him, my heart broke.

God, that hurt so much. As much as it's heartbreaking when Dean sees Mary again, it always hurts me more to see Sam see Dean see Mary, if you know what I mean. Sam didn't get to have any of that. He never really knew that love or that comfort, that safety. And him saying "Mom...?" and going unheard is the perfect illustration of that.

Dean throwing out the necklace Broke. My. Heart. Just...no, can't think about it.

I completely get you. Because it's his mother too...but he didn't know her. He doesn't have memories save for pictures and the handful of time's he's seen her ghost or memory or w/e. But Dean did. (I kinda wrote a fic like this a while back. with wee!sam asking if it's okay to miss her even though he didn't know her xD)

...it's been a day and I still can't get over it... *wibbles*
