Twissie Is Twittering For Reals Sort Of Maybe Whooo

Aug 02, 2008 21:20

Augh. Christian and his friends have got me hooked on twitter. It was bound to happen sooner or later, I guess. I mostly update in Norwegian, but feel free to follow me anyway. We can reply to each other and be helped through boring days 8D Right, right? My twitter can be found here.

I was asked to change my UiO password today. It denied my ( Read more... )

I looked for your Twitter account when I saw your Facebook status, and didn't figure that the "twissie" user was you (or maybe it is). I then thought "Hmm, well I guess if not 'twissie', it'll be 'twiss'. Shall I check that one? Nah, can't be bothered, probably won't be that either.". I is doofus.

I don't use Twitter much(/at all) anyway.

Yeeeeah. Twissie was already taken by some Chinese person D: Should I be worried? <,<;;

I created my twitter account when I was in Japan, actually, but never really saw a use for it. Suddenly realised what fun it is today 8D;

ugh it took me like 10 tries to set a password. that stupid "it must have a capital letter AND a random symbol", but you can't START it with a capital letter or a number or whatever.

i ended up using a combination of numbers from my social security number and letters that were easy for me to remember. then i used it as my password for a lot of things.

Yeah, my brain just implodes when they set all these requirements for our passwords. I know they do it for our own security, but come on o_o; Had to be more than 8 characters. Had to have numbers, special characters, capital letters and regular letters. The first three characters need to be three different kinds of character types (so a number a capital and a special character, for instance). Paaaaaain.

I literally keyboardmashed and copy-pasted that in. Hence not being able to remember it xD

You might have me slightly hooked now as well, now that I have someone that I know posting regularly, as opposed to some webcomic artist...

I guess I might actually learn a bit of Norwegian out of this ^_^

Jeph Jacques updates so often with stuff I know nothing about, that he's the reason I stopped opening my Twitter client. :P

Thankfully twissie and raspberry_lemon are well and truly drowning him out now ^_^ ... although it seems to be convention season as well, that might have something to do with it.

God, I just start all of my passwords the same way, and incorporate some kind of 1337 in there, just because then "it's not a word that's in the dictionary", even if it is.

No matter what I typed in, it told me it was a dictionary word T___T!!! And I'm quite sure that most of what I typed in is not in any dictionary. Oh well.

My first password was like _R0lo999 or something, I forget. As long as I start with the underscore, it let's me do what I want, I've found. >_>

Huh. Maybe I'll try that when I attempt to change it to something I'll remember.

They've never had that rule about the three first character needing to be of different character types before, though, have they? My old password did not follow that rule <,<;;
