Challenge 1--Round 6--Clans, Covens, & Packs...Oh, my!
We're halfway through the challenge, so it's time to up the stakes and get down to business. This is the last week for multiple entries, and then it will go to down one icon per round. So, get all the points you can!
This week's rounds are dedicated to "power in numbers"--the importance of friendship, love, and having a safety partner. With BD spoilers now being allowed, this is the perfect opportunity to introduce this week's theme--The Vampire Covens/Clans and the Wolf Packs! Some of these faces are familiar, others brand new, so I think it'll be a lot of fun an exciting to see new Twilight icons pop up. For those who haven't read BD yet, never fear, you can still readily participate--The Denali Clan, the Volturi Coven, the Volturi guards, and half the American Nomads first appeared in the three books.
Please the round rules because there are some restrictions. The Olympic Coven (aka the Hales/Cullens) are excluded from this challenge--I think we can all agree there are lot of icons featuring these folks out there, lol. The point of this round is to create icons featuring characters not often used. And there are some rules pertaining to Jacob, and some resources listed.

General Rules:
1. All icons must be submitted to this post by SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, at 11:59PM US CENTRAL STANDARD TIME. For our international participants who need help converting, try here.
2. You may submit up to TWO (2) icons total. Submit your icons as a comment to this post, as an img src and a url; all icons must meet LJ standards. Please try to keep you submitted icon under one post.
3. All textures, brushes, blending, stock, fan art (with artist's permission) and animation is allowed.
4. Do not post your entries anywhere until after the voting is over and the results have been announced. Do not submit a previously made icon. Do not submit an icon you yourself haven't made. Breaking any of these rules will get you disqualified.
5. Also, please post any questions concerning this round as a comment to this post. Comments are screened.
6. Participant's List, RANKINGS/POINTS, Resources, Suggestions, General Rules.
Round 6 Rules:
1. Your icons must feature any of the Vampire Clans/Covens or the Wolf Packs with the exception of the Olmypic Coven (aka the Hales/Cullens).
2. You may icon as many or as little members of each group (i.e. Tanya, Tanya/Kate/Irina, or the entire Denali Clan) with the exception of Jacob Black--he may not appear alone in an icon but rather must be with at least one other member of the Wolf Pack.
3. Any persons/objects may represent the characters. You are not limited to only movie cast members.
4. For a list of the Clans, check the back of BD. If you don't have Breaking Dawn readily available, scroll to the last post HERE. Or check out the Lexicon's character profiles for more information.
