2nd grade rocks!
i wish i had 2 classes of 2nd graders to give me parenting advice back when the dub was new.
all i had were hyper-pc mentors and other educator-types...equally funny, but in a far more depressing way. actually, the community of mentors sorta reminds me of "the family stone"...but more on that later.

the pdub's latest favorite toys: two walnut-sized buddhas, one red, one white. they dance on the dining room table and sometimes hide in a pink and yellow striped tote bag. -

of course i was reading about brothels and the ever-increasing tensions between fundamentalist islamic middle eastern states and their hedonistically secular european counterparts (the problem isn't the brothels, but the flags in the ads for the brothels...global politics are so dumb), but the article did mention the world cup slogan ( Read more... ) -

i though maybe he'd finally lost it and went on a violent, taser-fueled rampage but it's just a concert. albeit a surreal and vaguely creepy "let's commemorate that day your people bombed our kids" kind of concert.
