Raise your hands?

I'm just wondering how many there are...

Please state rather you
a) Started watching because of Siddig (that would be me, for DS9)
b) Knew him as Dr.Bashir or ___ and is pleasantly surprised.
c) Hardcore 24 fan who have never seen the actor before, but found him /hot/.

Spoiler? )

B. Saw him on DS9, saw him in Syriana and was happy to see him get a reasonable role on 24. Such an underappreciated actor.

I watched *last* year because of Julian Sands, after resisting Days 1-4. *g* And *this* year I would have watched regardless, but I am an Al Siddig fan. I liked Dr. Bashir, but I think my love for him really comes from his movies, and Assad has totally won me over to a full fledged Al Siddig fan for all time, I think. WOO!

I really hope he makes it through Day 6. *wibble*

B) and C)...I've been watching 24 since season one, but was pleasantly surprised to see Bashir. Star Trek faces are no stranger to 24, however. David Palmer had an interesting way of hiring them, or getting married to them.

Firefly characters have shown up a bit too. Wayne had an affair with Zoe and Badger stole the nerve gas from the airport during Day 5. Heh. Anyone I'm missing?

B- I recognized him as Bashir, but I *adore* him as Gaius Baltar on Battlestar Galactica. Any other BSG fans on this comm? Hello? Anybody?

Anyways, he's hot, and fabulous at the Middle Eastern accent, and I hope that he manages to stay in LA and not vanish off the show for two months because he's "flying to DC."

That's Alexander Siddig...who played Dr.Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine...and: Alexander Siddig is not James Callis, Callis was Baltar.
