About halfway last winter term, I was informed that I needed an associate’s degree to work in any medical facility such as hospital or nursing care facility. I decided to go back to school. I’m attending Baker college with RJ. I figure it will give me something to do while waiting for him to do his college classes and help me get a descent job. I guess its update time again. A lot and nothing much has been happening. Mike has a new job working, quality control at an electronics company, which is right up his alley, and he is working as a custodian at an elementary school in the evenings. I’m still job hunting. What a busy year so far. RJ graduated from High School the first of June. We are having his Graduation party this Saturday. All the fun of getting him ready for college started back in May and still continues. I think it will continue till he graduates with his Associates in 2010. Well, finally after 8 years of living in sin with Mike/aka WarfRat we took the plunge and got married on Jan 18th 2008. It was a simple civil ceremony at the court house, just a few friends and RJ. RJ seemed ok with it all; his only comment is, “Mike better not think he ca boss me around now”. LOL ( Read more... )
