I say to myself, "jee- that's a great place to put x." Please stop me. I now can't find either camera cable, re-charger for battery back-up/power pack and part of a set of cutlery. There are also two computer software disks in hiding.

nods - there is an inverse relationship- the more you need something the harder it will be to find. The corollary to this is if you come across something again and again, ie a battery charger, or the thingy that makes something else work, you will not be able to find it when you do need it.

Oh yes. Particularly batteries, where if you know where they are, then they must be old ones that don't actually work.

*reads about landscaping*... ugh. Good luck with all that! Here in Texas, right now, there is no water, so ... no landscaping. My poor poor shrivelly tomatoes!

lots of water here, two major downpours today.
I have stopped growing tomatoes- far cheaper to buy them when the local ones are ready.
