My accomplishment of the week - I can swap two skittles (clubs - but isn't 'skittle' cuter?) from hand to hand pretty reliably, at least starting from the right (I'm so disgustingly right-handed, it's terrible). I'll work on the left tomorrow, if my arms don't fall off after S.E.T. (and hopefully kickboxing, unless my body wimps out on me like

And I am also a graceless klutz who longs to dance. My name actually MEANS "graceful one," which is just cosmically hilarious, considering my biggest physical accomplishment is the number of times I've knocked myself unconscious, haha. If we ever do manage to meet IRL, we must dance together gracelessly~

...The very first time I met one of my dearest friends, I stood up to greet her and gave her a bloody nose. Somehow I feel perhaps our first meeting might unfold similarly...O_o;;;
I apologize in advance, so let's dance anyway~~~ #^____^#

I think it's cool you like to do so much stuff. ^^ It's one of the things that makes you awesome fun. MORE AWESOME! MORE FUN! MORE COOKIES! >O Let's just... go to Japan already. e.e;; Eff this. Or let's wait til I get my you-know-what at the end of the year, and THEN go. Yeah. PLAN MADE. We'll stay with all those people you apparently know who are over there.

...I totally abbreviated that like Yoshiko so as not to use names and then it was "Mr. T". I am so calling him that now.
AND NO MORE COOKIES. ZOMG I made like 300. THREE HUNDRED COOKIES. Your work has enough cookies!

It's their loss for not hiring you. You sound very patient and clear - something hard to find in teachers nowadays.

And re: Google Earth: ...Oh my gosh. That's so terrible! It's really surprising, for how far Japan has come in so many ways in recent years, how certain old hangups still cling to the undercarriage. It's really sad.

Other than that, well... I did go to a crossdressing host(ess) cafe while in Tokyo! :D; Not sure if there's much in the way of English conversation on that front, though.

I'm going to have to suck it up and apply for JET, I guess. I'm so terrified of their interview process, and so worried they're going to send me somewhere I don't want to be and I won't know until I accept the position. -_-; (I hate hot weather, I'm terrified of being stationed in Okinawa or Kyushu or something and melting to death.)

The interview was not bad at all, really. Throughout the process of applying, they kinda prep you for what they'll ask about (since it's basically just expounding upon your application answers). All you really have to do is think of some stuff that you'd use in a lesson plan (I just said that I'd teach kids songs, I didn't need anything more specific than that) and, if you speak some Japanese, give a little intro. I flailed hardcore when asked to speak Japanese and they still hired me. XD; As for getting sent somewhere, during the interview, they ask why you specifically requested your placements and that's where you can tell them something like "I just can't deal with heat, so I wanted to make sure I was placed somewhere with middling temperatures and far from Okinawa and Kyuushuu."

...ZOMG, I can't even remember the last time I tried to do 自己紹介...>_<;;; That was hard enough in CLASS. (Although somewhere, I have one written down, LOL~)
When do applications for JET start? >__________< You're so sweet. Thank you for all your help~
