It is, it's from 1996! I'm not sure if Sakamoto remixed it or if they recorded it together :P I like it a lot as a whole, but, someone commented that the drumbeat was "so embarrassing"...and it kind of is XD
It's hard to choose one, he's done so much different stuff :P I'm not sure how much of it he wrote, but the thing I first remembered his name from was the Orfeu soundtrack, such pretty cohesion ^^ recently, sound-wise, I've been listening to more songs in a minor key with pretty chords, like his unplugged performance of Odara with Maria Gadú (but I don't understand the lyrics :P) I've been listening to Brazilian a lot lately because we've been talking :D
