O.O and another partner, i think in ( Read more... )

Oh no, I'm so sorry, that really sucks. Fingers crossed you find something new soon.

Killjoys felt really off, didn't it? What happened to Lucy was really awful and sad (Aaron Ashmore sold the hell out of it) but it still felt like a 'so?' kind of episode. Oh well

I gave up on iZombie years ago, but I'm glad it went out well. I really liked the characters but it kind of morphed into a world that broke it's premise for me. So it ended with Blaine ad Don-E being trapped in the bottom of a well (as still zombies so they'd be there forever?)? Did Major and Liv remain zombies? Did Ravi get turned?

Yes, exactly re: Killjoys! There was just an odd lack of tension and not much movement ahead of the plot. I do like the fact those protocols exist for privacy mode when there's naked people though, it's a nice worldbuilding touch. And I always like an actual reason for a The-Floor-Is-Lava game but.. yeah. *sigh*. Luck&Johnny's goodbye scene though *wibbles*

That actually sounds like a good ending for iZombie, I'm kind of happily surprised by that. :)

the privacy mode was fun. and i liked that the guys were more naked than dutch was, so we could leer at them. :D

i was surprised by izombie too! i expected a darker ending, but i definitely prefer the one we got.

Oh, hon, I'm so sorry!!

I am hoping you find an excellent position elsewhere, but it's so upsetting and disorienting to be laid-off, especially when it's a central-office decision that has nothing to do with your performance.

**big big hugs and good job-hunting and recovery vibes**

thank you! in one way it's kind of a relief that the decision didn't have anything to do with me personally or my job performance, but it's frustrating because there's nothing i could have done.

Oh, I am so sorry. I hope you find something new soon. None of which helps with that awful unsettled feeling. *hugs*

I agree about Killjoys. I liked the first couple episodes a lot but this one just felt... I can't tell if it was boring or just ill-timed? I'm sad to lose Lucy, and as someone else said, Ashmore played the hell out of that scene. It still wasn't as impactful as it should have been, though? Maybe the direction was off. I don't know.

thank you. i feel less unsettled and more unstructured - there's no external structure to your time when you're not employed any more and not in school. well, there's no external structure to my time, anyway. i'm not great at making my own structure.

yeah, something about killjoys was just off. maybe the writer wasn't that good? i don't know. i'd go with ill-timed too.

I'm so, so sorry about your job. :(

That's a scary and unsettling position to be in. Will you have unemployment for a while, to help cover bills while you look for a new job?

*hugs* *more hugs*

thank you! yeah, it sucks. i applied for unemployment and i'll get seven weeks of severance, and in a pinch i have parents, so i won't starve or be kicked out of my apartment, but i'm already bored as hell. there's no structure to my days!
