And OMG that Pride flag. What an amazing endeavor for one guy to do.
That footage of the eclipse is amazing, the poor guy getting his first film stolen though!!
The cat ladders are great, although I disagree cats must be allowed outside access, the studies I've seen is even previously outdoors cats can be just fine inside full time and it's so much less destructive on the local wildlife and extends their lifespan by a lot. I do wonder who builds all the little ladders though and if it's some carpenter's main job because that'd be hilarious.
That purple bread looks great. More food should be purple. Here we have purple baos (filled with sweet potato) and purple congee (same thing) but that's about it.
is it okinawan sweet potato? because i had papaya/okinawan sweet potato swirled froyo and it was orangeish and purple. i totally agree that more food should be that color. i mean, purple!
I'm not sure if it's Okinawan sweet potato, but i just image searched and it looks similar. In China they just have "white sweet potato" (regular), "red sweet potato" (orange) and "purple sweet potato". I love sweet potato, can't wait for winter, when guys on the street grill them in charcoal and sell them in plastic bags to eat.

the pride flag is so impressive! even more so because the guy sewed it eight hours a day for two and a half months. that's dedication.

imagine that conversation:
"so what do you do?"
"i'm a carpenter."
"what do you build? cabinetry, furniture? houses?"
"cat ladders."
heh.
