you asked for a tiny snippet i probably don't have that much to say about. this is ok. i can babble. i'll have to do it when i get back, tho. this is my note to myself. :D
i'm finally getting around to this, yeesh. derry's just had one of those "omg did i really say that out loud" moments and is kind of embarrassed - it's always weird to him to admit he'd actually sleep with sil given the chance, because he really is the queerest of the queer boys and sex with girls usually holds absolutely zero appeal for him - and sil is teasing him because she thinks he's cute when he's embarrassed. she's not sure how she feels about will (which is totally fair because sometimes derry isn't sure how he feels about will) but she does know that right now, fucking him will make derry happy, and really that's all that matters to her. and he's taking some initiative, which is good for him. and he's not going home with a stranger, which always kind of worries her.
and i wanted a little platonic affection in the story, because valentine's day is also a day to cuddle up with your best friend who you love a lot but aren't sleeping with because one of you is a gay boy and the other is a straight girl with a boyfriend.
