Last night was a rerun of Omnivore, a.k.a. The One With C. Thomas Howell. Bread-and-plastic-wrap was The Big Wheel, a.k.a. The One With Alex O'Loughlin :D
omnivore was last night. (aka "the episode that's set in boston and stars c thomas howell looking like a walking cadaver".) i caught the second half of it the first time they aired it but i'd never seen the whole thing, and i did remember sort of how it ended, but not that what'shisname scraped up his wrist and drank his own blood to get sick enough to engineer his escape from jail. SO GROSSED OUT. and the one with the bread was... crap. i don't remember and i can't figure it out from imdb.
they are totally a family unit, you're so right. hotch as mom, heee. would that make gideon dad? (elle does call him "dad" a couple times in derailed....)
oh, i totally get why hotch looks as old as he does, and it makes sense, but it's really jarring to see s1 hotch on sunday and then s4 hotch on wednesday. he's aged more than the rest of them.
i'm bummed too! i have no idea how much use i'd get out of a new vcr - aside from taping cm on writing group wednesdays, ok - but it might be worth it to look. or possibly figure out how to fix mine so it will record again.
i'm mostly bummed because i have to go to writing group, because we'll be discussing my story. assuming i actually write something, that is....
yes, all of that about leverage. all the sneaking off to call mom sophie, and eliot all "stop sitting next to me!" at parker and "i'm gonna break your arm!" at hardison. SUCH KIDS. SO MUCH <3. w flailed a bit about them stealing that diamond, 'cause someone's losing their job over that, but i pointed out all the "ebil corporations" they've shut down already. i mean, really. what about all those jobs? mostly i couldn't give a crap about the real life factor--that's not what the show's about, and i like it that way. warner bros rules--it all goes back to normal the next day, and nobody falls if they don't look down. =D
you're still somewhat ahead of me--i keep thinking i should actually, y'know, POST in my lj. i do not know what to babble about either. i have story stuff, but i've convinced myself that it's all terrible. =\
oh god, parker and eliot on the couch was SO CUTE. she didn't know what to do with herself without sophie! and i love how little patience eliot pretends to have, when in reality i think he puts up with a lot more from parker and hardison than he would from anyone else.
i think i'm only posting so much because a. i don't want anyone to forget i exist (what? it could happen! i seem to be commenting a lot less), b. i'm watching a lot of criminal minds, c. it is totally my new favorite thing, and d. i now know other people watch it too, so i figure i'll get a couple comments if i talk about it.
>>i have story stuff, but i've convinced myself that it's all terrible.<<
he is SO irritated, but he does not hate them that much, or he would've have beat them up or left already, there is NO patience in that man. *snickering*
a) i worry about this! i do! or i think people will think that i don't give a crap, but really i just can't seem to get up the nerve/energy/etc to comment. LJFAIL. >_>;
you and me both, dude. argh.
i hate creative esteem funks. meh. hopefully it will pass. <3
Yes, it's Crimind Minds :D A guy got shot in the abdomen, and he... (don't look, Cindy!) wadded up a piece of white sandwich bread, plugged the wound with it, and then wound plastic wrap around his torso to hold it in place/keep from bleeding through.
I watched a good portion of that CM last night. I like Joe Mantegna so I watched. I won't be watching again after all that serial killer in Boston stuff; that will give me nightmares!!
BUUUUUUUUUUUT, I was watching tv recently and was coming back from the kitchen during a commercial break when they were running a commercial for "Eastwick", which I had no interest in... until I heard a familiar voice. I ran back into the living room - PAUL GROSS IS PLAYING THE JACK NICHOLSON ROLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I will be added this to the dvr line-up.
it is admittedly a creepy episode for bostonians to watch.... even tho i spent enough time yelling "boston does not look like that!" to not feel threatened in my own city. it's a really good show, serial killers and all.
did you have to make paul gross arms in excitement? :D i think i've seen one ad for that show, or most of one ad, but i don't know anything about it otherwise.
