I found you recently through your other website because I adore Natalie Portman. However, I don't know whether to set up an LJ for myself because everyone else seems to be very artistic, and I'm graphically challenged. Since finding your journal, I've been enjoying both your art and your prose. I haven't left a comment before because posting as "anonymous" seems tacky. Any idea how I can participate otherwise? I am a 22-year old from the Northeast and have identified with some of the situations you've chronicled.

I wouldn't let the graphics thing stop you. A lot of people on LJ don't have the first clue when it comes to graphics, it's just that LJ provides nice places for the graphically inclined to show off ;) You can get icons/banners/headers from other people (like me ;)

If you do decide to get a journal, pop back here so I friend you :) They're a lot of fun. I highly recommend LJ.

I set one up!! Now I just have to figure out a way to make it all pretty like everyone else's. You are so fortunate to have so much talent and to also be so computer-literate. I can do a decent amount on the computer, but absolutely *nothing* artistic.

i'd love to befriend you here.:) i saw a post by you in the "Icon's Journal" community. you make such cutie icons and i also love making some. although i'm quite new at this, while you're already waaaaaay up there.[no bull.:)]

I'm curious as to how you found me- we don't mutual friends or comms- but you have excellent taste in literature and come off as mildly insane, which is very endearing, so yes I will add you :)

Oh awesome! I'm a huge Heroes fan so we should get along just fine :)
