In the shower this morning, I was thinking about the new "Les Miserables" movie. I had an intense Les Mis phase as a pre-teen.
And then I was thinking about my musical obsession a few year previous to Les Mis: Disney's The Little Mermaid.
And then my brain went to a crazy mashup place:

I just called my Congressman, Michael Capuano, to register my opposition to the SOPA bill that has the internet all in an uproar. The guy who answered said the Representative opposes the bill in it's entirety. Awesome ( Read more... ) -

So this joke occurred to me over the weekend. I think it's funny, my nerd friend sample size of two think it's funny, but I'm not sure if it's ready for general consumption. What do people think?

This is one of the coolest things I have ever heard of. Someone is anonymously leaving paper sculptures in libraries in Great Britain. I want to know all about it, while at the same time I don't want to kill the mystery. heart. -

Sorry this is so late.
Final Class. We had a potluck and showed our work. One of my classmates was semi-allergic to gluten, so I made macaroon cookies without flour. There was fruit and salad and artichoke dip and it was all very tasty.

Cross-country pet transport?
There is a dog in Indiana that I want here in Boston with me. His name is Pepper, he is a chihuahua, and he fits in a #100 carrier. If you are travelling cross-country, want extra gas money, and have room in your car for such a wee beastie, do get in touch. Likewise, if you know of any good ways to ship pets--maybe a rescue organization?

Bathroom /= Nursery
I don't know why spiders seem to think my upstairs bathroom is the perfect place to give birth to horde of tiny creeping spawn, but I want it to stop. I want to be able to brush my teeth in peace without the lint starting to move.
