Yet more info on TRON: Legacy remix album.

Feb 18, 2011 12:24

There hasn't been any announcement about who else is doing the remixes for the album, but TronSoundtrack.com did update with purchasing info, which is all below the cut.

Also, the official title of the album is apparently TRON: R3CONFIGUR3D. With the 3s and everything.

Right this way... )

.... well shit. Now I really want that top one.

I agree with the whole "I wish they'd sell it separately" thing, though. That'd make things so much simpler.

I know, right? I'm halfway tempted to order the cheapest one, but I'm already paying $50 for the 5-disc set off Amazon, so it almost doesn't seem worth it.

Can we get a link to the site where you are getting this info from? :)

Also are there any websites that people can purchase these from?

Ack, sorry, I'll edit that into the post. All the info is from tronsoundtrack.com, which is the US store for the soundtrack. The EU, AU, and CA stores haven't updated with this stuff yet, though, so I don't know if the album will be available overseas.

>:( It's stunts like this that make me go... less legit ways of getting things. I've already preordered the 5 disc set and I already have Betrayal, both making up 90% of that purchase...

GAH! What a pain!

Other than that, I think it's awesome that the track is coming out. Why can't April get here any sooner?

Yeah, I know. I don't doubt that the CD will be available by itself elsewhere (Amazon, iTunes, etc.), but it's really annoying how the bonus content is exclusive to these ridiculously expensive packages. I wouldn't mind paying $25 or whatever to get the soundtrack on its own with the exclusive content, but I don't want to have to pay out the nose just to get that stuff with things that I've already ordered.

Seconding everything you both said.

Sadly, I've already imported Betrayal last week, together with the Legacy artbook, and they have already shipped for an estimated arrival in mid March.

I also second a singular CD release including the "Collector's Digital EP", since orders over US$50 are taxed on arrival here, requiring cheap manuevers on my end, meaning getting everything separately is the best option.

I'd like to point out that the 5-disc edition that comes with the soundtrack is NOT the limited edition - so if you want that and the soundtrack...

Guess I'll just have to wait until someone wants to sell the CD separately, seeing as I already have Betrayal and the poster. I'm sure someone will post up the digital tracks, not that it makes me feel any better about it.

:| damnit, disney.

The DVD should be in widescreen, and I'm pretty sure that films in BluRay are in widescreen by default. (Though you have to have a widescreen TV to play BluRays in widescreen, otherwise the BluRay defaults to playing in fullscreen. Which is really stupid and weird, but ~the more you know~ I guess.)

Hmmm, I don't believe that's completely true, re: 'Blurays need a widescreen tv'. My Blurays each played the as way they were intended on my standard (hi-def, but standard dimensions), in Letterbox format. If anything, it was my newer widescreen tv whose settings had to be changed around to play its movies correctly.

Just wanted to add that clarification, so no one gets nervous about that.
